H.O.P.E. of Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem is one of the top cities in the entire United States for hunger in families with children. North Carolina and Louisiana are now the top states for hunger in children ages 0-4. One of every four children in North Carolina has insufficient food to meet nutritional needs! Our missionis to use community-wide volunteer support to prepare and bring nutritious weekend meals to Forsyth County's 40,000 children who are at risk for hunger. You can help!

Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC is a vibrant hub for the work of feeding community. Every day, we move 37 tons of food through our warehouses and out to our neighbors that need it most through our network of 470 dedicated, on-the-ground partners. Beyond food, we support our partnersthrough providing capacity building grants, nutrition programming, tools for advocating for families and more.
