We will be doing some hard pruning around the church campus as well as spreading mulch and pine needles to give the outside a little “pick me up.” We would love to have you join us on March 18th (as you can see from the video, this "crew" needs a LOT of help!!)!

Here are the times and details for each phase of the project:

PHASE 1:

CHAIN SAW WORK‍

We need experienced people who can perform light chain saw work and/mechanical shearing of shrubs. You will need to bring your own tools. Instructions will be provided at 8:00am in the South Parking Lot. This portion of the project is restricted to people ages 16 and older.

• Project time is from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. (Early donuts & coffee at 7:30 am.)
• Bring work gloves, a bottle of water, wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and your "Leave It Better" shirt.
• Park in the South Parking Lot.

PHASE 2:

BRUSH REMOVAL

We need several folks who can drag, load, trailer, and move all the prunings/branches from Phase 1 down to the east end of the South Parking Lot. Please indicate on the registration form if you can bring a 4 wheeler and/or a light trailer to transport the debris. Once the debris is dumped, you will distribute pine straw bales to the various locations around the church campus.

• Project time is from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
• Bring work gloves, a bottle of water, wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and your "Leave It Better" shirt.
• Park in and use the South Parking Lot to stage your truck/trailers/razors' or 4 wheelers.

PHASE 3:

SPREAD PINE NEEDLES

This portion of the project will require multiple people to remove trash and clean up the newly pruned beds, and then spread pine needles in the beds all around the church.

• Project time is from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon.
• Bring work gloves, a bottle of water, wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and your "Leave It Better" shirt.
• Park in the South Parking Lot.
